Gabion walls are flexible, permeable, earthquake resistant, cheap, fast, ecological and greenable.

Comparison:
Choose gabion for ecology, low cost and fast construction.
Choose concrete for rigid building walls.

For hydraulic and slope projects, gabion is much better.
